Do not combine separate operations
A January 8, 2026 local report described a Carabinieri investigation involving two brothers, alleged cannabis cultivation and a firearms-related incident. It did not establish the 12kg seizure described on this page.
That report is mentioned only to distinguish it, not to replace one operation with another. Arrests, quantities, recovered items and allegations must all belong to the same identified record before they are combined into a news account.
What would support a corrected report
A reliable replacement needs the announcing agency, release date, location, substances and quantities, procedural stage and any relevant defence response. A seizure does not establish ownership or final criminal responsibility by itself.
The original also asserted a street-value estimate, supply disruption and future forensic work without a supporting source. Those statements have been removed rather than made to sound more persuasive.

This is a transparent correction, not a completed reconstruction of the alleged operation. Further reporting is needed before the original event can be described as verified.
